Installation Overview
Install via Composer, run setup:upgrade, then configure cookie categories and consent text under Stores → Configuration → GDPR.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the cookie banner block scripts before consent?
Yes. Scripts assigned to a cookie category are held until the customer grants consent for that category, helping you meet prior-consent requirements.
How does data export work for customers?
Logged-in customers request an export from their account, and the extension compiles their personal data into a downloadable file.
Is erasure reversible?
Erasure anonymises the account and personal data rather than deleting order history outright, keeping accounting intact while removing personally identifiable information.
Does it cover only GDPR?
The consent and data-request tooling is general purpose and helps with GDPR as well as similar regimes, but confirm specifics with your legal advisor.
