Chatify is a cloud-native real-time messaging application designed for remote teams requiring secure collaboration tools. It features group messaging channels, dynamic file sharing, and peer-to-peer audio/video calls, providing a self-hosted alternative to Slack.

Delivered a real-time, end-to-end encrypted messaging platform — group channels, file sharing, and peer-to-peer audio/video calls, built as a self-hostable alternative to Slack.
Engineering the Solution
We designed a real-time event pipeline using Node.js, Socket.io, and WebRTC. We utilized a scalable Redis adapter to coordinate chat servers, configured WebRTC turn/stun handshakes, and encrypted chat payloads client-side.
