A lifestyle brand outgrew their Liquid theme's performance ceiling. They needed editorial-style pages, faster mobile Core Web Vitals, and full control over the frontend while keeping Shopify for cart, checkout, and inventory. We delivered a headless storefront on Next.js 15 connected via the Storefront API.

Headless Next.js storefront live with full design control for marketing pages, while Shopify continues to handle cart, checkout, and inventory unchanged for the client's team.
Engineering the Solution
We architected a Next.js App Router storefront with Shopify Storefront API (GraphQL), ISR for product and collection pages, optimistic cart via Shopify Cart API, and CDN image optimization. Checkout redirects to Shopify's hosted checkout for PCI compliance.
